HEAD COACH: Jimmy Krueger
2010 will be Coach Krueger’s 3rd year with the Spartans. He grew up playing soccer in New Orleans, Louisiana. He later moved to Katy and played for Katy High. After a successful four years on Varsity, with numerous individual awards and a couple trips to the Regional Tournament, Coach Krueger went on to play at Midwestern State. He led Midwestern two of the four years in goals scored, was elected All-Conference three times, and helped the Indians get to the national tournament two years. The Indians went 56-15-6 during his 4 years. Coach Krueger also played two seasons in BC, Canada. He led the entire league in goals his first year, and was elected to the all-star team where he started against the Scottish Premier team Hearts.Over the past two years he has coached JV for the Spartans with an overall record of 33-5-4 and back to back district titles.

JV ORANGE COACH: Scott Leonard
2010 will be Coach Leonard’s 1st year on the Spartan coaching staff. He grew up playing soccer in Kingwood, TX for Kingwood High School, the Classics Soccer Club, and the Texas Heat Soccer Club. Coach Leonard led Kingwood to 2 state finals appearances and was named the 2003 Houston Chronicle Soccer Player of the Year. He remains Kingwood’s all-time assist leader and is ranked 4th in total goals scored. He went on to play collegiate soccer for Midwestern State University. During his 4 years at MSU, the Mustangs had an overall record of 60-16-4. The Mustangs reached the National tournament 3 out of those 4 years.
JV BLUE COACH: Mark Wallace
2010 will be Coach Wallace’s 1st year on the Spartan coaching staff. He grew up playing in San Antonio before moving to Carrollton where he lead Creekview High to the state tournament in 2003. He was a four year starter in high school as well as first team honors in each of those years. His college career was spent in Illinois at Bradley University. The braves went 44 – 28 – 12 during his 4 years on the hilltop. The braves won the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title back to back years ’05, ’06, and made the NCAA tournament once ’05. During his time in Peoria he also was on staff with Sporting FC.
